I caught a cold, so what better way to clear the sinuses than to eat a bowl of super spicy korean ramen! >8D

I make weird life choices. |
Normally I'd buy the cheese flavour, but the curry flavour is one I haven't tried yet, so I'm curious to see if it's any good.
I'm not a fan of the choice of colours for the packaging though... |
It comes with just the packet of curry sauce. |
All cooked and ready to mix! |
Oooh, looks browner than the usual sauce! |
The fragrance of curry can be detected when mixing the sauce with the noodles. Taste-wise, there's the familiar sweetness of the Samyang hot sauce, but with the taste of curry powder in it! The spiciness is still a bit too overpowering to fully appreciate the curry flavour, but it's there, and it's not bad. 8D There's some bits of meat in it, and it kinda looks like beef. (Isn't it supposed to be chicken ramen?) Unfortunately, I did not check to see what kind of meat it was in the ingredients list before I threw the packaging away. owo;;; (And I suck at identifying random bits of meat...)
Don't forget the soft-boiled egg! |
Unlike the cheese flavour, it does not leave me feeling bloated at the end of the meal. (I may have lactose intolerance despite the fact I love cheese.) It pains me to say, but I may actually prefer this curry flavour to the cheese flavour! (What blasphemy is this?!)
Not saying it's bad or anything, but look at how yellow the water becomes after you
drain it from the bowl, lol. 8D;;; |
Anyways, I recommend the curry flavour if you want some variation to your super spicy hot chicken ramen craving! I'd give this a 8/10!
