2x Spicy Samyang Buldak Hot Chicken Flavor Ramen

I was looking back through my older posts and found that I had tasted both the ramen cup and ramen bowl versions of the 2x Spicy Samyang buldak ramen. I had recently been given a few packets of the 2x spicy buldak, so I figured I should review it and see how I like it 8 years after I last tried that flavour!

Here's another snack from the Samyang brand! Much like the spicy chocolate-covered almonds, it's a snack branching off from Samyang's famous hot chicken flavour. Time to see how it tastes!

Sriracha Ramen - Sriracha Flavor Stir-Fried Noodle

This here's an interesting one. It's instant ramen based off the Sriracha hot sauce! I kinda like Sriracha sauce so I'm curious to see how this one tastes!

 The red colour of the packet is certainly really striking.

(Also, since this noodle is pretty similar to the Samyang Hot Chicken Flavor Ramen in terms of flavour and preparation, I'm gonna be comparing the two of them a lot.)

Random Snacks: Marukin Yodo Tamago Thickly-Cut Baum (plus a Muji Sakura Baum)

Here it is, This is the baum which I think is the best I've ever tasted. It's made with Yodo tamago, which are high-grade Japanese eggs, from what I've read. (They're tastier than regular eggs, it seems.)

Cup Noodle Review: Rich Cup Noodle - Uni (Sea Urchin) Cream Flavour

Heya, it's the (Chinese) New Year, so let's celebrate it with an addition to the Rich Cup Noodle series: The Luxuriously Rich Uni Cream Flavour!

Samyang Spicy Chocolate-Covered Almonds.

So... When I saw this on the supermarket shelf, I was like, "Oh, what the hell, I'm gonna try it!!" I can't read Korean so I'm only guessing that these are spicy chocolate-covered almonds. (And I've always wanted to try some spicy chocolate!)

Even the chicken can't take it!

You may recall me reviewing a similar snack some years ago and you would be right! Unlike the Jagabee tarako mayo (also from Calbee), this Jagariko is tarako butter, which also sounds delish!

I enjoy watching MasterChef Australia, and there was one episode (Season 10, Episode 27) where a professional chef cooked Vegemite prawn risotto for the immunity challenge. The Vegemite butter idea looked awesome, so I decided to try making a risotto dish with Vegemite butter as well.

Mamee Daebak - Spicy Fried Chicken Cup Noodle

So, for some reason I only just found out that this flavour from Mamee (a local brand) cup noodle existed. And some famous(?) Korean dude gave his approval of it, so it should be quite good?

Well, it certainly has piqued my interest. Time to try it!

American Nissin Cup Noodle - Spicy Chile Chicken Flavor

So, I was surprised to find Nissin Cup Noodles from the US at my local grocery store. Needless to say, I bought a couple to try them out. 8D

I deliberately went with "spicy," lol.

I'm reviewing the Spicy Chile Chicken flavour first, and I will cover the Spicy Lime Shrimp flavour in the next blog post!

Samyang Hot Chicken Flavor Ramen - Jjajang

This one is a fairly new flavour! It's based on jajangmyeon, a Korean black bean sauce noodle. I've never had jajangmyeon before, so let's see how it tastes!

It's short for carbonara, apparently.
