Here is another cup noodle review for a flavour that may still be available in Japan at the time of writing. It's Nissin's Matcha Shitate Seafood flavoured cup noodle!

Here is a closer look at the (very) Japanese characters. |

All ready to eat~! |
The noodles are green, which is not unusual. (Kinda looks like cha soba.) There are also some squid, carrots, cabbage and fluffy eggs, the usual ingredients in seafood cup noodles.
It smells like regular cup noodles, with maybe a hint of green tea in there somewhere. The noodles taste pleasant on their own, but the soup is really nice and savoury. Tasty! However, I can't quite taste the matcha flavour in the soup or the noodles. I'm guessing it's one of those subtle flavours where you don't know it's there until it's missing.
Overall it was a pleasant experience, but I might have to try the ordinary seafood flavour to know the difference. Despite that, I would buy it again if given the chance. (Also partially for the novelty.)
