Here's another one of those unusual flavours from Japan. This one has potato & chicken nuggets ("potenage" for short) with black pepper and soy sauce flavour. (Also, why must they have such long names for the flavour? 8D;;)

It's bigger than the regular ones. |

There's the picture of the potatoes and nuggets!
(This thing has pork in it btw.) |

Here's the inside! Those dehydrated potatoes and nuggets felt crispy and light, lol |

All cooked! The potatoes and nuggets now look like potatoes and nuggets, lol. |
It's funny seeing the transformation of the potatoes and nuggets from crispy little things to something softer. Unfortunately the potatoes were a little soggy when I tried it. (I guess it's bound to happen when it's in soup.) There's also some kind of oily/greasy feeling on my tongue after eating them. (Not sure if I'm imagining it.) The tiny chicken nuggets were adorable and kinda remind me of chicken char siew in taste and texture.

Lookit those small little things! |
The soup is alright, and I could taste a bit of the black pepper when I was slurping the noodles. There's also a bit of umami that's pleasing to the palate. The black pepper in the soup also warms you up a bit. Since this is a BIG Cup Noodle, it can be pretty filling.

Brown soupy goodness. |
Overall, I find this cup noodle alright. It's got good flavours, but they're not exceptional. I'd rate this a 6.5/10. Good to try at least once for the novelty.
