Mamee Daebak - Spicy Fried Chicken Cup Noodle

So, for some reason I only just found out that this flavour from Mamee (a local brand) cup noodle existed. And some famous(?) Korean dude gave his approval of it, so it should be quite good?

Well, it certainly has piqued my interest. Time to try it!

Here's the top!

And its contents!

Time to cook the noodles!

Wow, I just poured hot water over the plain noodles and it already smells tasty?!

So, if you're new here and was wondering why I'm cooking the noodles in a bowl instead of a cup, long story short: plastic + hot water = not good for health. Now that that's out of the way, let's continue!

Drain the water and add the toppings and sauce!

This looks quite similar to the Samyang Spicy Hot Chicken noodles, not that I mind, since more of a good thing is a good thing!
Mix it all up!

Hmm, that's a nice reddish orange colour. The spicy sauce is thicker than the ones from the Samyang brand. It's almost like the ketchup/chilli sauce condiment.

So how does it taste?

...Not bad, not bad! The sauce is both spicy and sweet, and those brown toppings are like crispy fried chicken crackers. I like it! The noodles is not as spicy as the Samyang Hot Chicken noodles, but it's enough to make my nose run a little after the first bite. It's a little plain, but overall it's not a bad cup noodle.

I would rate this a 7.3/10. I'd definitely eat this again if I'm feeling for something spicy but not too spicy. Quite a pleasant surprise this one was.
