Avgolemono-style Maggi Chicken Noodles

I've always wanted to share my silly little recipes, but I haven't found the time to actually sit down and write them. Now that I have a bit of downtime, here's a recipe for Avgolemono-style Maggi Chicken instant noodles!

I hope I don't offend the Greeks with this one!

Nissin Seafood Cup Noodles with milk & tumeric

You may have heard of the cup noodle hack where you cook seafood cup noodles in milk. This is that... with some extra ingredients!

I like avocados. And I want to thank the person who discovered the delicious combination of avocado with soy sauce.

This here, is a normal avocado.

Marmite/Bovril Chawanmushi

So, given the situation most people are going through right now (with the pandemic as of writing this), I figured now is a good time to share my simple recipe for Marmite Chawanmushi.

Something fun to add to your meals!

Recipe: Pork Mushroom Risotto w/ Vegemite Butter

I enjoy watching MasterChef Australia, and there was one episode (Season 10, Episode 27) where a professional chef cooked Vegemite prawn risotto for the immunity challenge. The Vegemite butter idea looked awesome, so I decided to try making a risotto dish with Vegemite butter as well.

A pork mushroom risotto with Vegemite butter!!!

Making A Yaki Onigiri

So, the local Family Mart started selling these baked cheese mentaiko onigiri, which looked pretty darn tasty.

So I bought one for breakfast!

But there is just one problem...

Valentine Special (?) - Red Velvet Chocolate Chip Cookies

Since Valentine's Day is coming up, I figured I should post my attempt (from 2 years ago) at making red velvet cookies. I used a recipe from this site called Sally's Baking Addiction to make these cookies, and they turned out pretty good. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of the dough-making process, so I'm only going to post pictures of the baking process. 8D;;; If you want the recipe, just click on this recipe link. There are also lots of other red velvet cookie recipes you can find online so just pick whichever you fancy.

Food Wars Recipes - Shinomiya's Chou Farci (Part 1)

This time we have Shinomiya's chou farci, or stuffed cabbage! This dish is by far the hardest dish for me to get right, because I had to find substitute ingredients for this dish and I had no idea how much to use said ingredients.

Mmmmm.....

I'll be posting my 3 attempts at making this dish, with the first two attempts in this blog post and the third (and successful) attempt in another blog post.

Valentine Special - Muji Strawberry Gateau Chocolat

It's (almost) Valentine's Day, so I figured I should post a valentine-themed recipe of sorts. This is something that should still be available in any Muji outlets near you, the Muji make-it-yourself Strawberry Gateau Chocolat baking kit!
Don't worry, it's not very hard to make.

Food Wars Recipes - Apple Risotto

This time we have Soma's apple risotto from his cook-off with his father. It is a surprisingly easy dish to prepare!

Food Wars Recipes - Souffle Omelette

Here's another Shokugeki no Soma dish that I cooked. This time it's Soma's souffle omelette, and it's quite delightful to cook and eat! 8D

Food Wars Recipes - "Gotcha" Roast Pork

Note: I've made a follow up of this recipe here.

Since the second season of the anime is due in July, I think I should post my takes on some Shokugeki no Soma recipes (and also to serve as a refresher of the various delicious foods presented in that show). I'll start with the first "outrageous" dish Soma cooked, the Gotcha/Just Kidding Roast Pork! (Warning, image heavy!)

And thus begins the trend of food giving people foodgasms and stripping them of their clothes.
